Care and Support:We support initiatives and projects that help people to feel safe, secure and cared about.
Integration: We foster understanding, acceptance, appreciation and compassion, and we cultivate a common ground from which all are welcome and included (we intend to create a bilingual system)
Inclusion: We recognise Sotogrande can be a lonely and isolating place. We want to identify vulnerable people and those who would benefit greatly from simple acts of kindness, care and support, and to support the development of services and projects that promote inclusion.
Collaboration: We want to create an open, friendly and welcoming platform upon which people feel they can offer ideas and suggestions and become part of the Sotogrande family that serves and supports each other.
Inspiration: We welcome and offer inspiration, ideas and initiatives that enhance the quality of life in our community.
Antonia Behan: Twelve years ago I moved to Sotogrande and have lived between Gibraltar, Marbella and Sotogrande ever since. Today, my core work is as a coaching psychologist (MSc Child and adolescent Mental Health, BSc Psychology (Hons) Accredited Transformatioinal Coach) , supporting adults and teenagers in the development of self-esteem, life vision, performance development, and psychological well-being, with a deep passion for providing awareness and education on preventative mental health measures. One of my important goals is to bring psychological well-being skills to schools and families, and I have so far succeeded in bringing these skills to four International schools in this area. I am passionate about empowering individuals to develop healthy and happy lives of meaning and purpose, this includes collaborating to cultivate positive living within our community. What I can contribute is this platform to facilitate the development of new community projects, clubs and social activities that you wish to initiate, lead, manage, or to promote your existing projects and social businesses and encourage opportunities to invite new people into our circles and clubs.
It takes a community to build a community. Your contribution is important. GET IN TOUCH!
